1 item from a poorly designed or manufactured kit
Hello, I bought a kit of several pieces made from carbon fiber, I assembled them and there is one of them that is badly designed or made and looks different from the others. I have spoken with the seller and he gave me the solution of refunding me 10usd, I need the piece, not the money. After several messages that I have sent him, he has not replied. What can I do

Hello @joseluisbetancor,
Thanks for your message. If you're looking for a replacement, you'll need to specify this when you open a return case. On eBay, we have protection to cover your purchase in situations like these. If the item you received doesn't match the description in the original listing or if it arrived damaged or defective, you're covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. You can return it even if the seller's return policy says they don't accept returns.
Below, I'm letting you know how to open the request yourself so you can start the process of returning the item and getting a full refund once the seller receives the item back.
You can open the case here, this will alert the seller so they can start the return process, but if the seller doesn't have another identical item to send you as a replacement, only the refund option will be available. The seller will have to pay the return shipping cost and we always recommend that the seller and you have a friendly conversation so you can resolve the issue in the best possible way.
You can agree whether you want them to send you the correct item or whether you prefer your money back. It's rare for sellers to ignore your help request, but if you don't get a response after a few days, you can ask eBay for help if you go into the case from your account and click the "Ask eBay to step in". You must ask us for help before 30 days have passed since the case was opened, or we won't be able to help you after this time, so it's important to keep an eye on the dates.
I hope this information helps.
Best regards
Cinthia
