anonymity in bidding

hi, when making bids and seeing who has won an item through an auction, other users' names appear blurred, with asterisks, like for example 4*********8, so you can't see which user you're competing against.

however my username appears in full

and I'm wondering whether each user sees themselves or whether there is some way to make bids anonymous. if that's the case, I need to know how to make my bids anonymous,

regards

Hello @alonso41,

Thanks for your message. That's correct, all bids are anonymous and nobody will be able to see your username. When you're in your account, you'll be able to see your own name, but not anyone else's.

You don't need to do anything, as this is automatic.

I trust this information is helpful.

Best regards

Cinthia
