High-value item received damaged due to lack of protection by the seller
I bought a collector's item of high monetary value. Before the purchase, I indicated in the notes section to the seller that they should protect the package well. The box for this item arrived damaged, since the item's box was only put into another box without any kind of protection. I want to claim damages for not protecting and neglecting a purchase of very high monetary value. I should point out that now the item, due to the damage suffered, its value will be 15-20% less. I would like eBay to take responsibility and help me with this issue since the seller has washed their hands of it. Would anyone know how I should proceed? Many thanks
