Help interpreting other users' bids
Hello,
I have reviewed the bidding history of an item I was interested in. It makes no sense that a user with no previous history or at least feedback (0), was outbidding himself and made the overbid on mine.
At the very least... the behavior of the user or account that ended up keeping the item for one euro over my bid is strange.

Thank you for your message. When an item is up for auction, all users can bid, it doesn’t matter if they just registered or have been around for many years; this does not mean there is any preference.
The winning bid will be the one with the highest offer before the bidding time ends, and normally, the last few seconds are when several bids from interested buyers come in, but some bids are received in the system a few seconds late and only the bids received before the time runs out will be considered.

OP1 year agoHi, I understand all the information received and it is very easy to understand that the person who bids the highest, at the last moment, and closes the established time wins the auction. So far, nothing to object to, but I raise the following:
If I am winning the auction, I would be interested in getting the item for the lowest possible amount... well then
...what sense does it make to outbid myself? With the consequent increase in the item's cost, that is what I was referring to. As for it being a new user, well, I won't take that that way. Thanks for the answer, I will continue looking for similar items.
