Ebay help that IS NOT
Hi,
What good is "help" if they don’t even listen to you?
A seller selling really bad quality, writing to me in CHINESE to return it and then Ebay decides the fault is mine for not having returned it???
What is that?
If I write to them in Chinese, they’ll surely not even help me, but I have to grin and bear it?
All that matters is that EBay has made money; it doesn’t matter whether it’s from a proper sale or from a scammer.
WHAT A HORRIBLE CROWD

Hello @offroadflow,
Thank you for your message. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had this experience. One of the advantages of eBay is that we are a global community with buyers and sellers around the world, and I understand that communication may not be in your language, but if you ask us for help, we will always be willing to help you.
As you may know, on eBay your purchases are 100% protected by our eBay Customer Protection Guarantee if the item doesn’t arrive, isn’t as described, or is defective: https://www.ebay.es/help/policies/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy/ebay-money-back-guarantee-policy?id=4210
If it’s a return, we only ask that you send the item back to the seller within 10 days after the seller accepts the return. If that’s not possible, contact us and we’ll help you, but if the case has already closed, we won’t be able to reopen it.
Best regards
Cinthia

OP2 years agoYou’ve closed my case without hearing me out.
I kept insisting that a return address in CHINESE no one in Europe can read. That was completely ignored.
Also, it’s made really hard to ask for help and impossible to reply to eBay’s messages.
All by default, obviously.
And lastly, the seller is still selling his crap and eBay couldn’t care less.
Of course, because they keep profiting from scams like that.
Very ugly reality at eBay.
