HELP - 1800€ SCAM
I bought a body kit for my car for €1800, the seller sent me a bottle of alcohol and attached the bottle's tracking to my eBay order. When I complained to the seller he told me he sent the bottle as a gift, while he was waiting for the body kit to be made. Now the seller won't reply to me and I can no longer start a return, and eBay customer service (awful) tells me they can't help me. I know it's a complicated situation and that I'll lose the money, but does anyone know any way to find the name of the seller who scammed me? I'd like to take legal action.

eBay’s Money Back Guarantee will cover you if you received an item different from the one described in the listing, and you can open a return request within 30 days after the delivery date
Make sure to keep communicating with the seller, and under no circumstances close the request, as that would mean we lose the chance to step in if needed.
