eBay bug?
Summary: A participant mentioned a problem with eBay, but didn’t provide any details in their message. No discussion was started about it.
I'm trying to buy a product from a seller in Japan and the page keeps insisting that "The seller did not specify shipping options to your location". It gives me the button to ask the seller, which I did, but they reply that they do ship to my country: they even checked it again, replied to me, and made me an offer "for the inconvenience"... but eBay KEEPS insisting that "The seller did not specify shipping options to your location". I even wanted to try another seller, with exactly the same problem, or similar: it tells me, straight up, that they do NOT ship to my location, but the seller tells me that they do. A week ago I bought from a seller in Japan with no problem, so the seller's origin isn't the issue here. Is eBay bugging out and coming up with this stuff even though the seller has it specified? Is it the seller who isn't doing anything (which would seem weird to me, since both sent me the link back and one even gave me a discount)? Has this happened to anyone else?
Since eBay support is really bad (there isn't or I couldn't find a chat to talk to someone, so I had to send an email and wait for a reply "within 24 hours"), I'm trying here to see if at least someone can point me a bit toward what's going on.
Thanks in advance for your time!
