How do I get a refund for a fraudulent return?
Hello everyone,
Thanks for your time in replying.
We are a company and are listed as a professional and top-rated seller. We had a fraud attempt case, in which eBay ruled in our favor on appeal. It refunded the amount of the original sale (item + original shipping costs), but no one has reimbursed us for the return shipping costs.
Is there any way to recover that money spent on the return label?
(And I don’t think the buyer who lost the case will want to hand it over voluntarily).
Again, thanks for your time.

Hello @compured_computers
Thank you for your message. I understand that the case has already been closed in your favor and that you want to know whether the return label is refundable.
If the return label was scanned by the carrier, it cannot be refunded, but if the label was never scanned, they can request the cancellation of the label in our guide How to cancel a shipping label.
I trust this information is helpful.
Best regards
Cinthia
