How do you make the sale of multiple orders and the shipping price match up?
Good morning
I've been on eBay for many years now but I've never sold anything, always bought. Probably out of ignorance, neglect, etc. But today I finally wanted to break that cycle.
I've spent the whole day trying to figure out how I can make the sale of a product, whether it's one unit or multiple units, profitable and coherent at the same time.
My case is that I have a lot of new British power cables. I don't know how to make the shipping match the weight. For example, a single cable doesn't reach 250 grams, but if I ship 18 it already goes over 4 kilos.
The thing is, I'd like to be able to make the shipping price adjust to the weight. I'm not going to charge the shipping for one at the price of 18 or vice versa. I've been looking at eBay help, searching YouTube tutorials and nothing has clarified my doubt. I've also tried to look at the strategy of other sellers and in some I could see how the price adjusted depending on the number of units and the price was not cumulative per unit... I don't know if it's because they are professional sellers or for some other reason.
I hope you can help me. I would like to sell many more things and in some of them I will run into the same problem. Thank you very much in advance.

Hello @ikesankom,
Thank you for your message. Congratulations on taking the step to sell on eBay. I completely understand what you mean and I’ll be happy to help; this is called Combined Shipping Costs. When a buyer purchases more than one item from you, you can offer a discount on the shipping costs for the additional items or set a fixed shipping rate for the buyer’s combined order in their shopping cart.
I’m sending you this guide with all the steps to set up your listing.
I wish you every success in all your transactions with eBay.
Best regards
Cinthia
