Cancellation of a sale
Hello, on January 19, 2025 I was sold an item, but the buyer has not made the payment. On the order page on eBay it says:
"Buyer hasn't paid yet
We have reminded the buyer to pay. You may wait for the payment or send an invoice again. You can cancel the order for non-payment beginning Jan 23."
I have tried to contact the buyer, but I have not received any response. I need to release this sale and cancel it, but when I try to do so through the official methods I get this message:
"You can't cancel this order
We were unable to cancel this order. Check the order details for more information.We were unable to cancel this order. Check the order details for more information."
How can I do it?

Hello
I understand that the seller has not paid for the item and that you can’t cancel the purchase. Sellers can cancel an order if the buyer has not paid between 4 and 30 days, at most, from the date the order was placed. You can find more information in the Order cancellation policy.
Since more than 30 days have already passed, the purchase can’t be canceled, but you will be able to relist the listing and you should see the option to relist the listing using the option to "Sell One Like This"
