Customs charges
Good afternoon.
Last week I bought an item on ebay. And to my surprise, when they sent it to me, the postal worker showed up and charged me 7 times more than the purchase price of the item for customs fees that I had never agreed to at any time.
I would like someone to explain to me how to request a refund of these fees, since I never agreed to them at any time.
Regards.

Hello
Thanks for contacting us. We understand that you paid customs charges when you received your item. Customs charges are the responsibility of buyers, since it is the buyer who decides which item to buy and from which seller.
If a buyer pays for an item that is not within the European Union, it is very likely that they will pay customs charges and you should check the possible customs charges before buying items outside the European Union. These customs charges are determined by each country's import laws and unfortunately cannot be controlled by eBay.
I hope this information is helpful.
Best regards
Cinthia
