Useless "I want the product" and "I want a refund" checkboxes
Absurd. An order doesn't arrive, I report the issue, I tick the box for "I still want the product", the seller issues a refund and Ebay closes the case. So why do they ask then?
Ebay is being complicit in a scam. I'll spell it out:
A seller puts an item up for auction. The plan goes badly and the winner pays quite a bit less than the seller expected. The seller ships it but with the wrong address; the post office returns it, the seller issues a refund, ebay thinks that's fine, and now the seller puts it back up for auction, having only lost the shipping costs.
This happened to me. The same product that never arrived was put up for auction again and they paid triple.
