An abusive commission is creating debt for me
Summary: chanc2607 expresses concern about an abusive fee that has resulted in the creation of a debt.
How can it be that by enabling the "Buy It Now" option on a high-value item, it generates a charge of more than 250 eur toward the seller?
Additional details.
eBay had recently included a clause and the user was not informed. The clause was not finalized.
THE ITEM WAS NOT SOLD! THE CUSTOMER DID NOT GENERATE ANY KIND OF INCOME OR PROFIT to be able to pay that abusive clause.
From there on, eBay treated the seller as a NON-PAYER, including them in a multitude of collection programs; digital harassment, account freezing, threatening phone calls.
The question is; do you think eBay can do this with any seller?.
