At the beginning of March I bought an Iphone 13 with 256 Gb that appeared in an Ebay listing. I received it about 15 days later and it started having problems when turning it on, but in the end I fixed it. After a little over 2 months of use, the ON/OFF button sinks inward, so it won’t turn off. The logical thing I think is to request the purchase invoice and take it to an official Iphone service center. I go to Centro Comercial La Cañada in Marbella, which is an official IPHONE/ APPLE service center. The surprise comes when the Iphone service technician calls me and tells me they can’t fix it because that device, when checking the phone’s serial number, does not match the device that was delivered. It corresponds to an Iphone 13 and 256 Gb device but it is red and was bought on November 21, 2021. I am left stunned, but I contact E bay and all they do is pass the buck, waiting for the warranty period to expire and then tell me that since it is out of warranty, I can go screw myself. that I am left with the broken phone and that’s that, that they have no responsibility for the problem because it is outside the deadline. Which is not true since I started reporting the problem before the three-month warranty period was up. And they also don’t tell you the steps to follow, so that the deadline passes and then they tell you that you are out of time. I report the problem on May 26, 2025 and the purchase of the device was on March 08, 2025 and delivered on March 18, 2025. So none of what the seller and EBAY say is true. jUST SAYING BE CAREFUL ABOUT BUYING FROM THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT CLEAR. WHAT A SHAMEFUL SCAM.
