I paid for an order and when I got home they told me it had customs charges, so it costs more, I returned it and I'm still waiting for the refund..

Thank you for the information. I understand that you did not expect to pay the additional customs cost, but I remind you that if you agree to buy an item that is located outside the European Union, it is your responsibility to pay the customs cost so that the item can enter the country.
I know you decided to send the item back and I would like to know if you followed our return process, (accept the item and open a case on eBay, receive a shipping label and send the item back with a tracking number) or if you just never picked it up from customs and it was returned to the seller.
This is important, as sometimes customs destroys unclaimed items and other times they send them back to the seller, and if the first thing happened and the item was destroyed, you will not be eligible for a refund.
If the tracking number shows that it has already been delivered to the seller's address, then you will receive your refund. You can open the case here, this will alert the seller so they can start the return process and you can request eBay's help if you go into the case from your account and click the option "Ask eBay for help". You must ask us for help before 30 days have passed after the case is opened or we will not be able to help you after that time, so it is important to keep an eye on the dates.
