The buyer is asking me for the product serial number
Hi, I'm trying to sell a DJI drone and the potential buyer is asking me for the serial number to check that it's active on DJI's page. And I don't know if that's normal. Would anyone know if there's any risk in sharing it? Thanks.

Thanks for your message. I understand that the seller has asked you for the serial number, and if you don't feel comfortable sending it, you can send them a screenshot and add it to the photos of your listing, and block out the serial number so the buyer can see that it is registered.
You can also explain to them that once they receive it, they will be able to verify that it is original and that it is registered, or they can return it and eBay's warranty will protect them, but this will not be necessary, since the item is original.
