Shipping return expenses
Hello, I started a return and the seller told me he didn't have a shipping label, he told me to pay the shipping costs and he would reimburse me, but I only received the cost of the item without outbound or return shipping. I'm trying to report the case but I don't know how to do it

Hello,
If you opened a return request because you received an item that was different or not as described, the seller would be responsible for covering the return costs, and we recommend never returning the item unless the seller has first provided those costs.
If you return the item on your own, you could lose the possibility of the seller covering those costs, as in this case you mention.
In fact, the eBay Customer Guarantee, offers protection if you have received an item in conditions different from what was stated in the listing,. In those cases, the buyer has the option, if the seller does not offer you a solution within 3 business days, to ask eBay to step in by selecting the option 'Ask eBay to step in' once it is available.
