I made a return, the buyer has picked up the package,
I made the return, the package has already been delivered to the seller by the post office, but eBay keeps telling me to return the item so they can give me the refund. Why is this such a mess?

We’d like to reassure you, as your purchase is covered by the Customer Guarantee Program , in the rare case that the seller does not issue a refund, once the tracking information shows that the package was delivered to the seller
Please note that if the package was returned to the seller, you will be able to escalate the return request once 2 days have passed since the tracking information shows that the package was delivered to the seller, or if a delivery attempt was made at your address, if they have not issued a refund within the aforementioned 2 business days.
Once that period has passed, you will be able to see the 'Ask eBay to step in' option within the request, and you can also contact the specialized team from this page so we can find a solution for you.
