breach of warranty
I need to speak with ebay about an issue with a seller.
I bought two USB cables for my phones in February, and as of today, they have stopped working. I have spoken with the seller and he tells me that the return period has ended, but I insist that the return period has, yes, but the warranty period has not. Rather than get into legal matters, I decide to buy them again.
I want to record this issue with this seller.

Hello @caroga-511,
Thank you for your message. We assure you that we place great importance on providing protection to our users in the event that a purchase is not completed in the expected way.
Please bear in mind, however, that as eBay is an online trading platform, we do not have the ability to inspect items. For that same reason, our customer guarantee program does not offer insurance or a guarantee with the brand of the purchased product.
Some of our sellers offer a warranty and in that case they usually indicate it in the listing description, and you will normally have to pay for the warranty.
We would recommend contacting the manufacturer directly, if the deadline to open a return request here on eBay has already passed (the deadline is 30 days after the delivery date), and you will be able to use as proof of purchase with the manufacturer the purchase email you received when you paid for the items.
I hope this information is helpful.
Best regards
Cinthia
