Volkswagen Touareg distribution kit poor quality
Hello, I’m wondering if someone can help me, this is the third time I’ve bought on eBay.
On February 5, 2025 I bought a timing kit (chains, guides, tensioners, sprockets,) on the eBay platform (top-quality-autopars), for a Volkswagen Touareg V6, and in just 3 months and with only 2300 km driven, a timing chain breaks, causing serious damage to the engine. I contact the seller (top-quality-autopars) to inform them that the timing kit I bought through eBay, one of the timing chains has broken, causing serious damage to the engine with a very high cost to repair the engine.
As of today I have written to them 4 times and they do not answer the messages, and there is no information for the seller where I can contact them further (email, phone number, website) they have nothing where I can reach them.
I contact eBay customer service and they do not give me any solution, nor do they give me an email address, they only tell me to go to the consumer office (OMIC) and file a complaint since by law I have a 2-year warranty, and since the product the seller sold me was a no-name product and came in a plain white box, the listing says origin GERMANY, and all of this is Chinese just like the seller.
WHAT DO YOU ADVISE ME TO DO?
