WATCH LOT UNJUSTLY SEIZED BY eBay's INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING CENTER
I bought a batch of watches some time ago and they have been seizing them, claiming that they are prohibited items. I’m trying to get in touch with the seller but it’s impossible; none of their contact channels in Spain have worked for me. The batch in question could be worth more than one hundred thousand euros. And I spent hundreds of hours finding this batch. Now I’m left without my watches and clearly with harm done to me that a simple refund does not solve. I want to know whether legal action can be taken or how to proceed in a case as extremely complex as this. They haven’t given me any reasons why they were classified as prohibited items. The only reason they could cling to is that they contain batteries, which is laughable. It’s completely an arbitrary decision. Thousands of watches are sold on Ebay and what a coincidence that when they are high-quality, high-value watches, they are classified as prohibited, and they also mention the item, and if that’s the case they could have given me the ones that don’t have batteries.
It seems extremely unfair to me everything that is happening to me.
In my opinion I deserve more than a simple refund, because we are not talking about a common case like I mentioned before. Here I’m attaching the photos so you can see for yourselves... Apparently this seems like a clear robbery...

OP1 year agoAnother thing... If it is really proven that the shipment was arbitrarily classified as prohibited, the refund is completely nullified as far as any legal defense is concerned... Also, I have to say that the way you address me, without even an apology, is not appropriate and apparently harbors some hostility toward me.

Hello @daniel.alberto,
Thank you for your message. I understand that you have received a full refund for the items and once the refund has been sent we will not be able to take any further action.
Best regards
Cinthia

OP1 year agoWhat you’re saying isn’t true... The refund was issued without my consent... And the watches cost a lot more than what I was refunded. The hours I spent looking for the listing aren’t being given back to me either... Even if refunds are issued, the reason for the cancellation is to claim that they are arbitrarily prohibited products. Besides, Pitney Bowes’ clauses violate a consumer offense and I can prove it. Just because a refund has been issued doesn’t mean that a crime isn’t apparently being committed. And we’re talking about my food... We’re talking about the fact that that shipment would have meant a paradigm shift in my life...
