If your account has been compromised or someone has taken it over, the first thing you need to do is try to sign in to it.

If you can sign in to the account

If you can still sign in, follow these steps:

Change your password immediately.
Check your contact information and payment details. Check your contact information, shipping addresses, and payment information. If the unauthorized person who took over your account made any changes, undo them.
Check the bids and active listings in My eBay to make sure they are yours. Contact us if you need help removing unauthorized bids or listings.

If there has been no fraudulent activity on the account, you do not need to contact us.

If you can't sign in to your account

If you can't sign in to your account, contact us immediately.
