Hello everyone,
I want to record an issue with two recent cases:
- In one, the package was supposed to be delivered to my address, but the courier delivered it to someone else before it got to me. The seller claims he is “waiting” for the document, but eBay closed the case in his favor without reviewing all the evidence I submitted. I spoke with eBay, who confirmed that it was the seller’s responsibility to provide the document.
- In the other, I received the package and opened it, as you can see in my full video, but the item did not match what I bought. The seller sent irrelevant photos of other purchases and even tried to justify it before I received the item. eBay confirmed to me that this was an attempt at fraud and that eBay would protect me as the buyer.
In both cases, I can’t send any more messages while eBay keeps the hold in place, and I want to know whether other users have had similar situations and how they went about getting eBay to reopen the case properly.
