I can't contact the seller
I bought a PC that, according to the description, was a "New" display model. I asked the seller before buying it and he confirmed that it had not been used. When it arrived, the hard drive had more than 80 hours of use, so they had lied to me. On top of that, it didn't work properly; it would suddenly shut off or the monitor would go black.
After a few months it stopped working completely. It wouldn't even turn on. Since the deadline had already passed, I couldn't file a dispute on eBay. I got in touch with the seller and he told me to return it so he could take it to the service center and have it repaired.
I returned it more than 4 months ago and I'm still waiting. I try to contact the seller and the message always appears: "It looks like there was a problem. Please try again later."
I can't contact them and I don't know what to do. This message only appears with this seller, so I think they must have blocked me.
Can someone confirm why that error message appears and whether they've blocked me?

Hello dan_gr2,
Thank you for your message. We’re sorry to hear that you sent your item to the seller. As you probably know, we offer an eBay Money Back Guarantee, and if you don’t receive your item, it is defective, incomplete, etc., we’ll refund you if you open the claim within 30 days of the latest estimated delivery date.
Unfortunately, since months have passed since you received it, the transaction is no longer covered by our eBay Money Back Guarantee policy. After the 30-day period, we lose access to those original funds in the seller’s account and the right to intervene or open an eBay Money Back Guarantee case. In addition, transactions made using third-party shipping addresses would not be covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee, please see our policy here
I understand that you haven’t been able to contact the seller and I suggest that you report it here
Report a problem with the seller and look for protection options outside of eBay.
I hope this information is helpful.
Best regards
Cinthia

OP1 year agoHello, thanks for replying. I’ve been buying and selling on Ebay for over 20 years, so I know perfectly well how it works and I know the policies. I already know that I can’t open a dispute or do anything about it because the deadline has passed.
The item isn’t from a private seller. It’s from a well-known franchise, so it has a warranty. The seller took care of the return paperwork and, once it had been returned, stopped replying. He told me I had to wait for the Technical Service’s response. That was in October, I’ve been waiting for more than 4 months! .
I try to contact him and the message always appears :""It seems that there has been a problem. Try again later.". That’s what I’m saying, I want to know if he has blocked me because that doesn’t happen to me with messages to other users.

OP1 year agoYou haven't answered what I'm asking.
When I send a message to the seller, the message appears: "It looks like there was a problem. Please try again later.".
I want to know if the seller has blocked me or if it's an eBay error. It only happens with this seller, so it seems strange to me that it would be a "technical problem".
I have already informed eBay on numerous occasions about this problem and nobody has replied to me.

OP1 year agoI was scammed out of €500. They kept the PC and my money. I can't contact the seller. I have reported the "technical issue" to Ebay and they haven't replied to me either.
This isn't a private seller, but a well-known franchise. So it seems outrageous to me that they've scammed me like this.
On top of that, I see that they've modified my message and deleted the seller's name. So people won't know who they are.
