Job offer via WhatsApp
Hi, a few days ago I got a job offer from eBay via WhatsApp and I’d like to know if this is real. It never asked me for any of my information, but I still doubt whether it might be some kind of scam

Hello,
We strongly advise you not to make any payment outside our platform.
At eBay, we never send job offers via Whatsapp, Telegram or other social media channels; what you mention is a clear attempt at fraud, since this is the only official job offers page
We leave you this guide with useful information to identify identity theft attempts.
