Package held in customs
Hi, I have a package stuck in customs, it’s coming from the United Kingdom, and since it’s not from the European Community, I have to provide documentation such as invoices, etc. When buying on the eBay platform, is it assumed that taxes like VAT are included?? Or is that not the case, because if I have to pay VAT and customs fees, the purchase is no longer worth it for me.

When you buy on eBay from outside the European Union, as is the case with a package coming from the United Kingdom, you may be asked to pay import taxes, such as VAT and customs duties, when you receive the package.
