Why does the price of products go up by almost 10 USD when I put them in my basket?
Why does the price of the products go up by almost 10 USD when I put them in my cart? I don’t mean the shipping costs.

Hello @tamm5835,
Thanks for your message. I understand that you’ve noticed changes in the prices of the items you searched for on eBay, and this is completely normal. There are many factors why this can happen, and I’ll be happy to explain.
As you may already know, eBay does not sell the items; it only provides the space for users like you to buy and sell their items. This means that we have sellers all over the world, and each seller is governed by the rules of their country and the country where the item is located.
In other words, when you search for the item, it shows you the price that the seller has asked for the item as if you were in the same country or region, but once you add it to your cart or are ready to complete the payment, we can see that maybe you and the seller are in different countries and the VAT, shipping cost, customs fees, currency exchange and international fee, etc., will be updated and the total calculation is updated depending on the seller’s location and your location, which is why you see another price.
I hope this information is helpful and clears up your questions.
Best regards
Cinthia
