Problem with seller verification: the form won't accept my NIE
Hello,
I am a Chinese citizen, legally residing in Spain, and I have a NIE.
I am trying to complete the identity verification required to sell on eBay Spain.
I have correctly selected my nationality as mainland China and entered my date of birth. However, the form only shows the “National Identity Document (DNI)” field.
When I enter my full Spanish NIE (format X/Y/Z + 7 numbers + letter), the system shows the error:
“Enter a valid official identification document”.
My NIE is valid and current.
What document should I enter in this field as a foreign citizen residing in Spain?
Should I enter my NIE, my Chinese passport number, or another document?
Thanks for your help.
