Refund
Hi! I made a purchase using PayPal as the payment method, and it happened that I received an email saying there was an error with the payment. eBay closed the purchase as if I had never placed the order, they restricted my account so I can’t buy now, and the problem is that I haven’t received any refund. PayPal is holding my money and customer service isn’t replying to my emails.

Thanks for your message. It seems that PayPal was the one that withheld the funds and you should contact them directly. You can do so by following these steps:
Check the status of your payment in PayPal to verify whether the transaction appears as "pending" or "held." Also look to see if there is a reference to eBay or any message about additional verification.
Check your eBay history if you still have access to this section, log in to eBay, review the "My purchases" section, and verify whether the order appears as canceled or if there is any message with details of the error.
Request the refund directly from PayPal; if the payment was not applied to a valid purchase, you can open a claim for "transaction not completed." In PayPal, select the held transaction and use the "Report a problem" or "Open a dispute" option.
Wait for the automatic release process, which, in many cases, PayPal releases the held money automatically in a few business days if it detects that the transaction was voided.
Regarding the restriction on your eBay account, it is usually due to pending verification or anti-fraud protection. Check whether you have notifications on eBay asking you to take some kind of action (update information, verify identity, etc.). If you can't buy, keep trying to get in touch through the official channels in our Help Pages.
