Refund to buyer to an unregistered account on eBay (which is why there are amounts withheld in eBay)
For years I have made certain purchases that, for some reason, were never completed, and the seller gives me FULL or PARTIAL REFUNDS, and I always assumed the money would go back to the account I used to make the purchase. Lately I’ve had more REFUNDS for the same different reasons (they don’t send the products, they never arrive, etc.), and reviewing my Bank Statement I have confirmed that Ebay never returned the money, and this because the account I paid with is Virtual and only allows PAYMENTS and does not accept DEPOSITS (like refunds). Questions:
1.- How can I manage the refund of all the charges that Ebay has not refunded to me?, and
2.- How can I register the account so that Ebay makes the corresponding deposit?

Thank you for your message. Refunds are always sent to the original payment method that was used to pay for the original transaction, and from what you tell me, your account does not accept deposits, so you will need to contact your bank directly and let them know that refunds have been sent, but because the account does not accept deposits, you have not received them.
You can contact eBay customer service if you need the reference numbers or if you paid with PayPal, they will be able to provide you with the refund numbers and with this information contact your bank so they can send these funds to an account that does accept deposits.
