Refund without return
Hello,
Let me tell you about my case, I made an international order, in the description it said the product had signs of use but that it worked perfectly. Yesterday it arrived, today I was able to try it and it doesn’t work. I contacted the seller and, being really nice, they said no problem, I’ll give you a full refund and there’s no need to return it. But they’ll do it in 2-3 days.
I have doubts about this, is he delaying everything so I can’t request a refund? If the product is broken, even if the returns policy says the buyer pays, if the description says it works perfectly and it really doesn’t, do I have to pay for return shipping?
His argument for delaying the refund is that he has the money “blocked” until 2-3 days from now, does that make sense?
His other argument for not wanting the return is that the taxes are very expensive.
It all seems a bit fishy to me, in case I return it, are the taxes paid at customs refunded?
