Bid withdrawal
I placed a bid on an item that I already have and that, in the title, looked like another one. I realized hours later and went to the help section for this issue, and it only gives 3 options.
One of them is to contact the seller, who has replied very kindly and is willing to help me, but he can't withdraw the bid himself, just like I can't.
Is there any way for eBay to withdraw it, considering that the seller and buyer agree and we don't want to wait until the end to cancel the auction/purchase?

Hello,
Please note that withdrawing a bid is not always allowed, since when you bid on an item you commit to purchasing an item and completing payment if you win the auction; a bid can only be canceled under exceptional circumstances.
If your bid does not qualify to be withdrawn according to the established requirements, you could normally contact the seller to see if they accept withdrawing it for you, but bear in mind that the seller is not obliged to cancel the bid, so there is a chance they may not agree. If the seller cannot withdraw the bid, they should still be able to cancel the order, if you have not agreed not to go ahead and complete payment for that purchase.

First of all, thank you very much for your reply, but I have to tell you that if I turned to the forum, it is because:
1st I had already read the help page about this topic; and therefore:
2nd I had contacted the seller, who was very kind and immediately understood my problem, but he could not/could not withdraw my bid himself either.
So there was no choice but to wait for the auction to end a week later and, in the end, won by me, since I was the only bidder, then he canceled the sale.
To conclude, canceling the sale at the end of an auction is the only way today to solve “withdrawing a bid” on ebay.
