Request for a "total"
I have 6 items in my shopping basket for a total of €11.00 plus €33.90 in shipping costs.
I have requested a "total" so they would reduce the shipping costs since it is a single shipment, but the system tells me that the seller does not accept it.
I contact the seller, who is willing to accept combined items, and they tell me to try again through the "Buy It Now", but that doesn’t work either. I tell the seller and they tell me to report it to eBay. I try, but I don't know how to do it directly. And that's as far as I've gotten.
I hope someone can give me a solution or that eBay allows sellers to prevent the submission of a "total" request to reduce shipping costs.
By the way, this situation has been happening more and more lately with sellers based abroad, and some have managed to sort it out for me.
Regards.

Hello, @juanbagome-0. Thanks for your message.
The request for total is a function that the seller activates or deactivates according to each seller's preference. If you get an error saying that the seller doesn't support it, then it's because the seller in question doesn't have this function enabled, and there isn't much more we can do, other than suggest to the seller that they activate this function.
If you send them this link, they’ll be able to see how to activate it. And if you click this other link you’ll see how to make the request for the total if you need it.
Best regards,
Marco
