In August I sold an item. It was sent with tracking, the buyer received it and left a very positive review.4 months later, I received a dispute notification. The buyer deleted their account and told their bank they didn’t recognize the transaction. I responded to the dispute with proof that they were lying. The next day, the reason for the dispute changed to "the item is not as described". I responded to that too.A few days later, I received a package in the mail and it was the item, completely unusable and deliberately destroyed.Now eBay not only wants me to pay back the full amount I received, but also wants me to pay eBay fees again.I’ve been a 100% member for over a decade. I’m getting no help from eBay with this clearly fraudulent and almost criminal behavior from the buyer.
