A purchase made through an auction unilaterally canceled by the buyer
Recently I won an auction purchase, complying with every single one of the requirements imposed by eBay.
Well then (or not), eBay has just informed me that the seller canceled the purchase/sale.
eBay intervened in the dispute without even deigning to specify with the slightest clarity the reasons for the decision. The notice only says, something like: 'problems with the buyer's address'.
Could it be that, for eBay, 'a problem with the buyer's address' matters more even though the seller failed to comply with the sales conditions established by eBay itself?.
I feel powerless in the face of such a situation. And I will never understand why, apparently, eBay has sided against the buyer, which is me?. And has preferred to question my credibility?. Could it be that eBay has become politicized, and that the judgment of a seller who fails to comply with the sales conditions carries so much weight? (conditions imposed by eBay).
Is this the 'trust with eBay' that eBay so loudly touts to the four winds?.
If eBay had the slightest intention of convincing me of its neutrality, it would be obliged, by its own rules, to clarify in detail its, apparently, dark intervention.
But..., it is clear that this is not eBay's goal.
The million-dollar question is: eBay which league are you playing in?.
