The seller won't accept my cancellation and puts the product back on sale
Hello everyone!
A week ago I bought a second-hand product (it's one of a kind) from a legitimate physical store through eBay. A day later, after inspecting the product, I saw that it had some defects that I wasn't happy with. I told the seller, asking him to please cancel my purchase. The seller tried to convince me that the product was perfect and that I was exaggerating. The product wasn't perfect, and above all, I personally wasn't going to be happy with the purchase. I asked him again to please cancel it, and he told me to be patient, that he was looking for another buyer for this product, but at no point did he tell me that he was going to cancel it. A few days go by and I see that the product listing has been edited and the product is back in stock, that is, he is putting MY product up for sale without having canceled it for me first. I asked him again for an explanation and he has again replied in a less than transparent way, telling me that he has no reason to cancel my order, that I bought it and it is in perfect condition, and that he is looking for another buyer for the product. In other words, he is neither going to send it to me nor cancel it nor do anything?
I know it's my fault for not checking the product properly before buying it, but his decision and communication seem unprofessional to me. What am I supposed to do? I guess the only thing I can do is wait for the estimated delivery date to pass and then open a case for not having received the product?
Thank you very much everyone

Hello @carab29,
Thank you for your message. I'm sorry to hear that the seller has not sent you a refund if the item is listed for sale again. Don't worry, all you need to do is open a case for item not received in our resolution center.
On eBay, we have the eBay Customer Guarantee Protection to cover your purchase in situations like these, where you have not received your item. I suggest that you contact the seller directly in case the item has already been sent, but the tracking number has not been updated, as this happens sometimes. If you do not receive a response from the seller, it is important that you check the estimated delivery date on your transaction, since our guarantee protects you for up to 30 days after the estimated date.
Below I explain how to open the request yourself so that you can begin the process of requesting a refund and backing our guarantee, if you are still within these 30 days. You can open the case here, this will alert the seller to begin the refund process and communication between the seller and you.
It is rare for sellers to ignore your help request, but if you do not receive a response after a few days, you can request eBay's help if you enter the case from your account and click the option "Ask eBay for Help".
Regards
Cinthia
