Ebay has modified the filter settings in certain sections
There are sections in which they have removed the filter "all filters". Then you can’t select either the search country or region, or set a price range. You can only tap the ones that appear to you, which are not all of them.
What is going on?. Is it that now they want to copy tactics from other stores, so that it always shows you thousands of results?.
No, eBay folks. I’m not interested in buying either in the USA, or in other countries where they make me pay customs or have ridiculously high shipping costs, which makes the item no longer worth it.

·1 year agoIt's to be expected that they'll fill the results with ads from outside, especially from China, the US and the UK, since searches often return only a few ads, and if they’re limited to the national scope or the EU, you can count them on one hand.
If you compare it with what this was like 10-15 years ago, you realize that this has turned into a wasteland. That's what years of suicidal policies and arbitrary changes on a platform that is now outdated and cumbersome get you.

OP1 year agoIt looks like it happens on other eBay:

It’s a trick to force it to show more results, and they think that way they’ll encourage sales. It makes no sense for them to show me results from the UK or USA, when I have to pay customs, for things I can buy in Spain. On top of that, the shipping costs go up quite a bit because it’s from outside. But eBay thinks that’s beneficial. Copying AliExpress’ or Amazon’s tactics to show you thousands of results, even though there are really only 5 that match what you’re looking for.
The solution is to put the category you want to use in the search at the top. Copy and paste it as it appears on eBay. Then the price filter, etc. shows up on the left... and you set the filters you want.

OP1 year agoI’m answering myself because he’s also done it in the rest of the sections. He’s only left a more basic configuration. Why is he doing this? Is it so it shows more results, even if it’s not what you’re looking for?
