Double charge from eBay and they wash their hands of it, saying it's the bank's fault
I’ve also been charged twice for a radiator from electronic star es living. After a month of waiting, the product still hasn’t arrived and the extra charge hasn’t been refunded. I report it to eBay and they give me a refund. There’s still another refund to make because they charged me twice for the product. I can’t do anything because according to eBay the case is closed and they only charged me once for the product. I tell them no, that there are two charges on my bank account, and they say that’s a problem with my bank, that I should speak to them. The bank says it was eBay who made the charge and they provide me with the transactions, but eBay washes its hands of it and keeps insisting that I speak to my bank. I’ll never trust this platform again. Terrible after-sales service, they didn’t even give me an email address to send the account transactions to, they don’t think things through, their answer is always to pass the buck to the bank as if the bank were responsible for the charges they appear in. Shameful

·3 years agoIn -I think by order of Brussels (EU)- all banks give you the option to reject a charge for something or someone that you either haven't received or was different from what you ordered; you have up to 60 days to do so.
Your case is exactly for that - eBay or not.
