REQUEST TO CREATE A "PRIVATE" FIELD FOR ITEM COST, TO DEDUCT FROM THE ANNUAL SALES AMOUNT
Dear sellers, you have to demand that eBay include a new field in its database... "ITEM COST" to sell.... so that they subtract it from the annual sales amount and thus the information they send to the tax office when we exceed 2,000 euros is real.
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY

·2 years agoon other buy-and-sell websites they’re already notifying shipping and tax data, and the worst fears are being confirmed
-each lot counts as 1 sale, one person bought 3 items = 3 sales, even if they were all within the same order
-your reported sales volume is the "net profits" = sale price - commission
-everything is capital gain that will end up being taxed at almost 20% in the IRPF, it doesn’t matter if you sold a game for 10€ that cost you triple and for which you paid VAT, to the tax authorities you’re not recovering part of what you spent but rather you have a "gain" of 0€-commission

·2 years agoonce they reach 30 sales and regardless of their value, they are already obliged to pass the data on to the tax office, according to some blogs, this even applies retroactively and will apply to the past year 2023
in June there are European elections, you already know what you have to do to "thank" the Brussels bureaucrats for only legislating against the interests of the people who pay their salaries
lots of advertising and institutional messaging about the circular economy, saying it helps the planet and is the most ecological and cool purchase, but then they want to squeeze you fiscally even when you sell at a capital loss because it's something used that you sell to recover part of the cost!
