Every time, actual selling on Ebay is becoming an odyssey. We spend money creating the listing and out of nowhere a bunch of supposed buyers show up whose only intention is to mess with the bids, and if they end up winning, they hide behind Ebay's free cancellation policy for nonsensical reasons. A very common example: Bid sent by mistake. And this one is a good one since that buyer places up to 6 bids within a 5-minute interval. In the end they win the auction and then automatically request cancellation. Even though when placing the bid they receive a notification from Ebay informing them that they are committed to paying if the bid wins. This Ebay policy has opened the door to chaos and there is no longer any guarantee of sales. A real shame

·5 months agoThe thing with automatic bids is trash. The times and order are totally fake and the question is whether the seller doesn't want to sell, whether the listing is just advertising, or whether someone is changing the value because of another offer they have.
The reality is that whoever wants to buy something is only wasting their time.
