This is the 2nd time that a high-value item hasn’t arrived for me. The previous time, even with a complaint and a trial, I couldn’t get my €2300 back. Now years have gone by and I’m trusting EBay again, and after paying €213 for an auction, I still don’t receive it. At least this time I handled it with Paypal because the previous time eBay washed its hands of it and left me hanging. I think it’s a totally unreliable platform and that not only does it not look after its customers’ interests, but it also couldn’t care less. As for me, I’ll only be badmouthing it from now on.

Incorrect buyer address and not responding to messages
Good morning A buyer made a purchase from me at the end of February, knowing that I wouldn’t send it until the end of April, just as I specified in the listing and as has been done. Before sending it, I messaged him asking for a phone number or email so I could pass it on to the shipping company, but he didn’t reply to the message... in the end I decided to send it without this info. The shipment was going from Spain to Hungary. Yesterday I got a message from the shipping company letting me know that the address was incorrect and that I should provide a new one. I wrote to the buyer again and still haven’t received a response... Has anyone been through a similar situation? After more than 1000 sales, nothing like this had ever happened to me.

With that company, the orders seem to get lost, they don't update them, and they don't meet the estimated delivery date. That transport company is way too negligent; if I bought in the UK, I wouldn't allow that to be my transport company.

New on eBay: shipping, which one should I choose?
Good morning everyone, as I mentioned in the title, I’ve just started as a seller on eBay and I have questions that may seem a bit basic but that I can’t quite understand properly. I’d like to ship both domestically and internationally. For domestic shipping, I’ve set free shipping with insurance and tracking. There’s also the option for the buyer to take care of the shipping costs. In international shipping, there is no option for free shipping. My question is this: my product weighs less than 1 kg, so I can’t send it in envelopes. For packages, when the buyer pays for shipping, it gives me a price range, as you can see in the photo. How do I calculate what the correct shipping price is?

Retention of a purchase by customs
I bought an item for less than €150 in the United Kingdom and I’ve just received a registered notice from Correos Customs saying that they have the purchase held and that I have 5 days to send them proof of purchase or invoice and proof of payment. On the other hand, they tell me that there are platforms (I think eBay will be one of them) where VAT is settled at source and AETA is informed beforehand, which will make the process easier. Please, can you tell me what I should do? How am I supposed to proceed? Thank you very much.

I buy in Israel for €8 plus VAT and now at the post office they’re telling me I have to pay 7 more
Isn’t it supposed that if you buy for less than €150 and VAT is charged to you (that’s how it appears on the EBay invoice), Correos shouldn’t charge you anything else? Well, they’re asking me for €7 or they won’t deliver the little package. What happened? How do you make a claim with EBay? How do you make a claim with Correos? Thanks

something very strange, it turns out that I bought a dental item X in India, shipment LPxxxxIN, basically they sent me something else entirely (phone case) and I had to pay customs at correos where this shipment LPxxxIN appears on the €7.33 invoice. Also, they charged me VAT again, I complained to the seller and he says there is another shipment "coincidentally," now the tracking for this turns out it hasn't been sent (the seller changed it today just now). How can things like this happen on eBay? honestly, it seems pretty unprofessional to manipulate the tracking like this and it looks bad I don't trust this platform anymore and these are things that don't happen on other platforms.

hi, I have a purchase of a dental product in India by Standard Int'l Postage without tracking, I don't know if it will get through customs or not, but I'm worried that the product will get lost and I won't even know. It's also not very clear to me in this case how to file a claim if there is no tracking in case of problems. Thanks

Shipment held in Glendale, Illinois, USA and no movement update
Hello, could someone help me? On May 5 I made a purchase from a seller in the USA, and the seller does ship to Mexico. From May 5 to May 10 the package was moving; it was sent via USPS Ground Advantage and arrived at an EBAY international center in Glendale, Illinois, U.S., and since May 10 the package has had no updates. It should be noted that the delivery window is from May 27 to June 6; however, I’m worried that it has not had any movement in the last few days and that I don’t have a tracking number for said package.
