Customs and UPS
So everyone knows, Ebay works with UPS, the worst shipping company. On top of delivering whenever they feel like it and not handling deliveries properly, they are ALWAYS going to charge you €30 in customs fees. It’s a made-up charge they invent, and they don’t tell you until they try to deliver the package. I’m saying this because I bought from FNAC and the same thing happened to me. A phone from England, €30. Obviously I didn’t pay it and the seller refunded my money. 3 months later the seller still didn’t have the package and they were still trying to claim customs from me. A disaster of a company. But on EBAY, since they’re in cahoots with UPS, they’ve put in the refund policy that if you don’t accept the customs charges and they return the package, you’re left without the package and without your money. In other words, TOTAL SCAM!!! Be very careful about buying through eBay and using UPS. I had to file a claim with the bank because the seller never contacted me and ebay washed their hands of it. In the end, I stopped buying here 15 years ago because they deleted the reviews and the orders, losing €300 because I couldn’t claim the package. They never fixed it for me. Now I’m trying again and they’re still the same scammers. So when the bank gives me my money back, I’m cancelling everything to do with EBAY AND UPS. When you buy something new, check whether they have a website and buy directly there. I bought this product here thinking I’d have more security and it was the opposite!! Be very careful about buying here!
