Correos is asking me for customs information within the EU
Hello everyone. I'm thinking about selling a few little things as a private seller. When I went onto the Correos España website to simulate creating a shipping label to an EU country (by the way, it gives different prices and I have to do a simulation for each one instead of getting a price list by country) I see that there is a section for customs and it asks me for a series of details. If products within the EU are supposedly exempt from customs and duties, why is it asking me for that information?

·1 year agoThe same thing is happening to me. For a few days now it’s been asking me to fill out a customs form for shipments within the EU, and they even ask for the recipient’s ID card, which in many cases they refuse to give and understandably don’t trust you with (I wouldn’t give my ID to strangers either.
More and more bureaucracy, paperwork, and wasted time for the citizen 👏👏👏
