I will never buy on eBay again as long as they keep working with Pitney Bowes
Let me tell you about my experience: at the beginning of July this year, I bought from a U.S. seller and they sent me the item through the company Pitney Bowes. The thing is, they give me the tracking number and it tells me the item arrived in my country and Customs has it for inspection, and up to that point everything is fine (well, not entirely, because it took more than three weeks to arrive). The thing is, I can't get any more updates because the tracking number, which starts with PBXGA, isn't recognized by my country's postal service (Chile) and apparently, it's another company that handles receiving and delivering Pitney shipments. The thing is, I contacted Pitney Bowes through their website chat and they wash their hands of it, saying that eBay is the one that has to give me the details of the company that would make the delivery.
At this point I ask myself, when did eBay's service program start to get worse? Before, with USPS, it was a thousand times more transparent and I could even know when the shipment entered my country. Slow, but sure, but now with that damn Pitney, not even that.
After this, I will never buy through eBay again, NEVER.
