shameless seller, BE CAREFUL
I bought an item from the Chinese seller
I keep all the correspondence. Things went like this:
-He told me it would arrive within a few days-
-I told him it HAD to be like that because then I would be away from my home for 2 months.
-The package arrived much later than stipulated, and I wasn't there.
-The product was returned by the post office to the seller.
-I didn't open a complaint, I contacted the seller who has been giving me the runaround with apologies and promises of a refund for months.
-Now, it seems the purchase has expired, I didn't know this, the transaction has disappeared from my profile, ebay has a "limitation period". The seller knows it, and very calmly, I'd almost say with a smug attitude, tells me it's too late to claim anything. And that he is not going to refund me.
What cheek. A couple of months ago his attitude was "come on, I'll refund you but don't leave me a bad review". Now that the offense is time-barred, his attitude has changed to not giving a damn. What a jerk.
What can I do against this shameless guy, for my own sake and so that others don't trust him?
