May 2022 Changes in the categories
Hello sellers,
As announced in our latest edition of News for professional sellers, we’ve made changes to some categories and item specifics to make it easier for buyers to find your listings —both on eBay and on external search engines.
Starting today, you may see changes in the following categories:
Motors Parts & Accessories
Watches & Jewelry
Home, Garden & DIY
Health & Beauty - Covid-1 Self-Test
Cameras & Photo
Until all changes take effect, you may experience temporary issues with your listings and their visibility. You may notice that some item specifics have been renamed, that listings have been moved to other categories, or that some listings temporarily do not appear in searches.
Although some issues with listing visibility in searches can last up to three weeks, affected listings should return to normal within a week.
As soon as these changes have been applied, we recommend that you review your listings in case they have been affected. Check the category changes.
Because we know that adding these new item specifics to your listings can take time, we want to minimize these changes so you can increase their visibility with as little disruption to your business as possible.
