Upcoming update to the Terms of the payment services
Dear seller:
At eBay, we strive to keep our policies clear and our services easy to use. We want to inform you that we are going to update the Payment Services Terms and Conditions offered by eBay, which will take effect on September 23, 2024. We are revising these terms to better describe the payment services we provide to you. As part of this review, we have modified the seller integration provision to increase transparency and clarified which eBay company offers the Customer Guarantee program in the Use of Payment Services section. In addition, we have reviewed and clarified the provisions of section III.7 relating to invoice, installment, and direct debit payment methods, without changing the rules as such.
If you agree with the changes, you do not need to do anything else. If, as a consumer, you do not agree with the proposed changes, you can reject them at any time before September 23, 2024 by notifying us in writing (by email, for example) or by terminating the payment processing agreement free of charge and without prior notice. To do so, you can send us an email or contact our customer service. Otherwise, you will be deemed to have given your consent to the changes.
Thank you for being part of the eBay community.
