Can someone tell me how I can sell to the worldwide web. I can only sell to Spain at the moment.

When I signed into ebay.com I was told I could not register my ad because it was not vallid.  At the moment I can only advertise in Spain.  Can anyone explain to a novice how I can sell worldwide.
