Hello
Do you speak English; sorry, my Spanish is not so good.
I have a holiday home in Portugal and often send goods to friends and "customers" (people I buy things on behalf of) both in the EU and overseas (USA and Australia). I want to use the Spanish Post Office to send these items as they have International EMS with insurance, the Post Office in Portugal does not and have lost some of my things.
Is that OK? Can I send them from Spain? If yes, do I actually need to pay tax on anything if it goes outside the EU? If yes, do I pay it to Spanish or Portuguese Customs?
I do not have an address or tax / id number for Spain, just the UK and Portugal. The Post Office in Spain said that was OK, but I want to ask you officially.
God Bless the EU
Congratulations on winning EURO 2008
Again, sorry for not speaking Spanish
