Hi everyone, I need some help with a complicated situation and would appreciate any guidance from the community.I purchased an item that the seller supposedly shipped on November 18 via eBay SpeedPAK Standard, but the package has no tracking, and the estimated delivery date was December 1. As of today, it still has not arrived. The problem is that the seller is no longer a registered user on eBay. When I first reported that the item had not arrived, eBay closed the case very quickly, and now I am unable to report it again, because the system shows the case as closed and no further options appear. What’s even stranger is that when I initially opened the “item not received” report, the seller messaged me saying that the package was “in Customs” and that I needed to remove the claim so he could “proceed with the shipment.” However, the shipment is marked as already sent, and still has no tracking information at all.I also tried contacting PayPal, but they told me that purchases are covered by eBay’s protection, and that I need to resolve the issue directly with eBay. The problem is that I cannot find any way to contact an actual eBay representative, nor can I reopen the case. Does anyone know what I can do in this situation?Is there any way to contact eBay support directly when the case is closed and the seller is no longer on the platform? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
